(Toronto) The Wolfpack have inked a deal with former Samoan international, New Zealand born fullback Quentin Laulu-Togaga’e. QLT, as he is known to rugby league fans, joined the Sheffield Eagles in 2011 and has amassed a remarkable record of 144 tries in 154 matches.

Head coach Paul Rowley and the Wolfpack coaching staff hope he can continue this with Toronto; “The signing of QLT is a massive statement of our intent. He is an ultra talented player who has been a high achiever throughout his playing for Sheffield. Often, the game breaker as well as being loyal and dedicated. Our style of play will suit him perfectly and I’m looking forward to seeing Quentin in his new colours and getting to know his new teammates. Toronto fans will not be disappointed.”

QLT is equally looking forward to dawning the black and white of the Wolfpack;“I’m very happy to be signing for the Toronto Wolfpack. Being part of the first transatlantic sports team is very exciting. With the squad we’ve assembled I’m confident we can give this first year a good crack, and then hopefully go on from there. Looking forward to playing at home in front of our Wolfpack fans!”
