(Plymouth) Toronto have drawn former Super League club and Kingstone Press Championship high-fliers London Broncos in the fourth round of the Challenge Cup. The Broncos currently sit third in the table and only narrowly missed out on the million pound game.
“Whilst the draw is a very difficult one, it is one which we will be looking forward to” explained Wolfpack coach Paul Rowley. “London is a club challenging for a place in the Super League, and their team possess some really exciting players, playing a good brand of entertaining rugby.”
The draw sees the two biggest cities in the RFL clashing, a fact not lost on Rowley. “The billing of London v Toronto competing in the world’s best sport is a headline to behold and I’m sure both teams will endeavour to do it justice. Myself and the team look forward to the challenge of facing the London broncos.”
The fourth round of the challenge cup will be played on March 17th, 2017 at Trailfinders Sports Club in London UK. The full draw is below.
