Wolfpack Team Up with Air Transat at World Travel Conference

Toronto Wolfpack stars Bob Beswick, Ryan Brierley, Andrew Dixon and Adam Sidlow attended this week’s World Travel Market conference in London. The players appeared alongside Wolfpack main sponsor Air Transat at the event at the Excel Exhibition Centre, London Docklands.

World Travel Market draws over 50,000 travel professionals, key industry buyers, journalists, digital influencers, students and tourism Ministers. The event takes place over 3 days and in doing so generates more than £2.8 billion of business contracts between attendees. Now in its 37th year, this show attracts a global audience that shapes the travel industry.

Players took time out from their pre-season training camp in Manchester to support Air Transat, whose sponsorship package provides the Wolfpack and their Kingstone Press Championship opponents with return flights between the UK and Toronto.

The Pack proved to be a huge attraction for the many thousands of visitors at the unique conference, and attended wearing the Wolfpack’s inaugural season black away Jersey, which features Air Transat’s logo on the front and back.

Toronto Wolfpack UK Business Development Manager Martin Vickers, also in attendance, reflected:

“The players and myself were honored to have been invited to attend as part of the Destination Canada exhibition where we were joined by Air Transat Vice President of Commercial, Gilles Ringwald, as well as Commercial Director UK & IRL, Lesley Kane.

“The conference provided us with a great opportunity to network with a huge range of exhibitors showcasing the many visitor attractions of Canada. We cannot wait for the season to come around so we can give UK fans the chance to savour the unique experience of a Wolfpack game in one of the World’s most incredible cities.”

Air Transat will shortly be announcing travel packages for visitors traveling to games between UK and Canada. These will include return flights, hotel bookings and match tickets. Supporters are reminded to register their interest using the links below to receive the very latest updates.
