Toronto Wolfpack’s final Betfred Championship game of the regular season against Featherstone Rovers at Lamport Stadium will now kick off at the earlier time of 1:30pm.
The Wolfpack will deliver a first annual ‘Fan Appreciation Game’ dedicated to thanking fans for their unwavering support in Toronto through the regular season. Wolfpack Head of Marketing and Communications, Jon Pallett, said:
“Our second season, and our first in the Betfred Championship, has been a tremendous success so far. We feel it is important for us to recognize fans for their contribution to this success.
“As an new organization we are grateful to our fans for their commitment and dedication. We also appreciate their ongoing feedback and guidance as we continue to develop our team identity.”
The game will also serve as an opportunity to highlight a few special fans. The Wolfpack’s #WhyWeDoIt campaign that launched last week has shone a light on the remarkable stories of player fan interaction that has become ingrained in rugby culture, and one of the many reasons the sport in all it’s forms is so popular today.
Fans are encouraged to continue submitting their own stories on social media, as the team will select three lucky fans to win a 1-day contract with the Wolfpack on game day.
As an extra incentive for fans to enjoy this game a number of ticket promotions are in place as the Wolfpack look to end the regular season with a bumper crowd at the Den.
All single game tickets are now half price, with adults from just $12.50. There are also further reduced rates for juniors, seniors and groups.
Fans who bought tickets to this game and cannot make it at the earlier time are entitled to a refund. Ticketmaster have emailed all buyers and anyone missing this should email firstname.lastname@example.org and one of the Wolfpack ticketing team will be happy to assist.
