Toronto Wolfpack encourage visiting fans to book Canadian Affairs Packages, managed by Divine Sports Travel, for the team’s Super 8s The Qualifiers games. As the Wolfpack prepare to embark on their postseason campaign, the hunt is on for a place in Super League as four teams make the trip to Toronto.
The Wolfpack will host Hull Kingston Rovers, London Broncos, Toulouse Olympique and Widnes Vikings having dominated the regular season to secure the Betfred Championship League Leaders’ Shield. Visiting teams brought up to 350 fans each to Toronto during the regular season. The Wolfpack expect that figure to increase dramatically during Super 8s The Qualifiers, given the calibre of the teams visiting Lamport Stadium, their sizeable fanbases and the significance of the games.
Divine Sports Travel, an official partner of Toronto Wolfpack major partner Air Transat and Canadian Affair, provide the best and most affordable travel packages for opposition club officials and fans. Flights, airport transfers and a downtown hotel ensure fans have everything they need to enjoy a terrific weekend of top-level sport in one of North America’s largest and most vibrant cities. Trips are available for Hull Kingston Rovers, London Broncos and Widnes Vikings fans, all running for 3 nights and 4 days from Friday to Monday. Scott Lidbury, Toronto Wolfpack General Manager – Commercial, said:
“Toronto Wolfpack are looking forward to welcoming visiting fans to the city during Super 8s The Qualifiers. Three of the teams have never visited Toronto before and we’re excited for them to experience the famous Lamport Stadium game day atmosphere.
“This includes our unique game day Beer Garden which serves a range of local craft beers and remains open after all postseason games to allow both sets of fans to mingle alongside our post-game entertainment.”
As part of Diving Sports Travel’s packages, visiting fans will be provided with the following:
– Flights to Toronto from a choice of UK airports
– 23kg of baggage allowance
– Airport transfers
– A stay in the 4-star Sheraton Centre Hotel in the popular downtown area, or another 4-star partner hotel
– A ticket per person to the game at Toronto’s Lamport Stadium in Liberty Village
The Wolfpack will be hosting pre-game and post-game events at Katana on Bay and 3 Brewers in Liberty Village.
The team is also putting together a Toronto Wolfpack weekend guide with recommendations of what to see and do in the city, as well as some great partner offers. This will be made available electronically ahead of travel.
