It is the first online store among Rugby Football League (RFL) teams to accept cryptocurrency as a form of payment as the Wolfpack continue to break boundaries in enabling fans across the world to support their team.
The Wolfpack have made no secret of their desire to be a global brand and one of the team’s three core values centers around supporting family-run, local businesses. The online store uses Shopify, an e-commerce platform provider headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada’s capital city. Jon Pallett, the Wolfpack’s Head of Marketing and Communications, said:
“By launching their new online store, Toronto Wolfpack are offering users around the world the chance to buy a growing range of Canadian-made, team merchandise.”
The new online store boasts an easy-to-use interface and will be updated periodically by the Wolfpack’s retail team. It offers a variety of shipping methods worldwide. Details of the official Wolfpack store across from Lamport Stadium, such as opening times and contact information, will also be included on the new website.
An official Kappa sizing chart offers guidance to fans from both home and abroad, while a ‘Returns’ page details the Toronto Wolfpack merchandize refund policy and exchanges. Information regarding duties, taxes and order tracking is readily available via the ‘Shipping’ tab.
