Toronto Wolfpack are delighted to confirm their 2019 Canadian Home Opener will take place on Sunday April 28th against Swinton Lions at Lamport Stadium (2pm EDT kickoff). The confirmed game means fans can look forward to ten confirmed regular season home games at ‘The Den’ in 2019, as well as potential postseason matches.

It has been confirmed this week that the 9,600-capacity venue in Liberty Village, where the team also train, will be available to host the game on the weekend of the scheduled clash against Swinton Lions. Jon Pallett, Toronto Wolfpack Head of Marketing and Communications, commented:

“We would like to thank our key partners and stakeholders, including Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) and the City of Toronto for their support in hosting the Wolfpack through the 2019 season.

“We also appreciate the patience the RFL, Swinton Lions and their fans have shown over the last two weeks as we finalise our schedule.”

Following the game against Swinton, the Wolfpack will take on Bradford Bulls, meaning back-to-back games at Lamport Stadium will launch the 2019 season in Canada. Pallett continued:

“We know among our fans, sponsors and the media there will be huge anticipation for this Home Opener. We especially look forward to hosting Swinton Lions as well as their fans who helped create such a fantastic atmosphere at our game at Fletcher’s Field earlier this year.”

All of the Wolfpack’s 2019 regular season home games at Lamport Stadium are included in the team’s Season Membership packages. The Wolfpack’s full 2019 Betfred Championship regular season schedule is below:
