Adam Sidlow Re-Signs With The Wolfpack
Inaugural Wolfpack squad member Adam Sidlow will feature in the Super League once more in 2020, with the towering prop set to take his Wolfpack journey into a fourth year after signing a two-year contract extension.
Debuting in 2006, Sidlow spent time with both Salford and Bradford in the Super League, quickly becoming renowned for his tackle-breaking runs and relentless defensive pressure. Nearing 300 professional games, the Englishman is a mainstay of Rugby League and has been a required player at the Wolfpack since day one.
Missing games only as a result on injury in 2019, Sidlow played every fixture in the Wolfpack’s 2018 Season and often carried the team on his back with his tireless repeat efforts at the opposition line. Hampered by injuries in the later stages of the 2019 Season, he unfortunately missed out on taking his place in the Playoffs and so will have no trouble finding extra motivation when he returns to the Super League.
With Sidlow’s former Club Salford falling just one victory short of a stunning Super League title in 2019, the second-rower is sure to be delighted at the thought of facing the resurgent force in UK Rugby. At 6ft 4in and 114kg, Sidlow is an imposing presence and built for the biggest stages in the brutal sport, something the Wolfpack will look to utilize across 2020.
