Andrew Dixon is one of the most capped Toronto Wolfpack players after signing for the Canadian club ahead of their inaugural season in 2017.
The dependable and impressively consistent back rower is closing in on 50 appearances for the Pack having proved to be one of the most durable players to grace the Lamport Stadium field across the opening two years of the club’s existence.
Dixon’s rugby league pedigree is impressive, having come through the junior ranks at one of the real giants of rugby league in the UK in St Helens.
The 28 year old forward debuted for Saints in 2008 and spent five years in the Red V before spending two years apiece at Salford Red Devils and Leigh Centurions.
One of the first names on the team sheet in any side he plays for, Dixon’s wealth of Super League and Championship experience made him the perfect buy to help get the playing side of the club off the ground and he quickly established himself as a leader in the squad.
Dixon is a terrific wide running back rower, who has made the right edge of Toronto’s attack his home, posing a constant threat to defenders, and will be a key ingredient to the Wolfpack’s 2019 campaign if they are to obtain Super League status.
