The Vegan Warrior Anthony Mullally was an early season addition in 2019 for the Wolfpack from Leeds Rhinos, adding an extra touch of quality to an already formidable pack.
After originally debuting for Championship rivals Widnes Vikings in 2009, the front rower displayed terrific perseverance and patience, slowly developing his craft to become one of the most consistent and impressive forwards running around and signed for Leeds Rhinos ahead of the 2016 season after eye catching spells at Huddersfield and Wakefield.
Mullally continued to develop and cemented himself as a vital bench player for former Leeds and current Wolfpack coach Brian McDermott during his time at Headingley and won a Super League title with the Rhinos at Old Trafford in 2017.
In opting to run with the Pack after only a couple of rounds of the 2019 season with Leeds, and reuniting with former coach McDermott, Toronto have added an Irish international prop who is notoriously difficult to tackle with an unwavering work ethic in the middle defensively, to add variety to what the middle unit bring on the field.
At just 27, the first publicised vegan Super League player is coming into the prime of his career and will no doubt have a huge part to play this season.
