Adam Higson is in his second season in Toronto after joining the club last year from Championship rivals Leigh Centurions.
As a native to Leigh in the North of England, Higson debuted for his hometown club in 2009 and became a mainstay on the right wing for the Leythers across a successful nine year span.
Higson was a prolific try scorer for the Centurions in their promotion winning season to Super League in 2016 and played a full year at Super League level before departing the club for Toronto following their relegation back to the Championship at the end of 2017.
Since then, Higson has never looked back and impressed in Wolfpack colours whenever he took to the field last year, showcasing his impressive try scoring ability with nine tries in just ten appearances in 2018.
An unfortunate shoulder injury suffered at the Magic Weekend in Newcastle last season saw Higson miss a large proportion of the year, but the physical right winger has hit the ground running in pre-season and is back to full fitness to start this year.
With a notable ability to earn the hard yards and an undoubted aerial presence out wide, Higson is aiming to put together some consistently good form to ensure he is in Brian McDermott’s side week in week out in 2019.
