Day one Wolfpack member Greg Worthington has been at the club since a ball was kicked and has been one of the senior figureheads the Toronto have been built around.
Following former coach Paul Rowley from Leigh to the Pack ahead of the 2017 rugby league season, the talented centre originally made his name in the game at Featherstone Rovers in the Betfred Championship, playing over 100 appearances for Rovers after debuting in 2011.
A local to Bradford in the north of England, Worthington grew up playing for one of real traditional amateur team in the sport at Queensbury and came through the junior ranks at Super League’s Huddersfield Giants.
The 28 year old is quite simply one of the most consistent performers in the Wolfpack squad, ensuring an impressive defensive performance on the edge, as well as some cutting edge attack, week in week out and is always one of the first names on the team sheet.
A cruel ACL injury cut Worthington’s 2018 season short late last year, with the substantial rehab also meaning the outside back will not be fit until midway through 2019, but Toronto fans can be confident that on his return to the field, he will bring nothing but quality and professionalism to the Wolfpack’s cause.
