Jack Buchanan is looking to make a big impact for the Wolfpack in 2018 after joining the club on a one year deal in January. With the option of a second year serving only as extra motivation to succeed, the front rower will be out to ensure his NRL and Super League experience is a huge boost to the club’s cause as they go in pursuit of more success in only their second season.
After leaving Super League side Widnes Vikings at the conclusion of 2017, Buchanan has opted to join the Wolfpack ahead of venturing back to the NRL, where he made his name as one of the most consistent props with Wests Tigers since making his senior debut in 2013.
Comfortable as a starting front rower, as well as adding impact off the bench, Buchanan adds some considerable bulk and unrelenting consistency to the Wolfpack forward pack. A willing metre maker and tireless defender, Buchanan is able to play long minutes in the middle, making him a vital inclusion into the squad as they prepare to face what is one of the most consistently competitive leagues week in week out in the Rugby League Championship.
At 25, Buchanan is still in the early stages of his career but is already an established campaigner and looks set only to improve when running out in the colours of the Wolfpack this term.
