Ryan Brierley is in his first full season with the club after joining the Wolfpack midway through 2017 from Super League side Huddersfield Giants.

Having made his first team debut at Leigh Centurions back in 2012 under Wolfpack boss Paul Rowley, Brierley quickly developed a reputation as one of the most dangerous runners in the game. He scored tries for fun in the Championship with 133 in 125 appearances, and was the Centurions leading try scorer in four successive seasons.

After trying his hand in the RFL’s premier division, the half back’s decision to run with the pack was a popular one as he became an instant success in Canada, continuing his try scoring exploits with a freakish 13 tries in just 12 appearances during the club’s promotion winning run in.

Despite his tall but slight stature, Brierley is blessed with devastating speed and acceleration and his game awareness means that more often than not he is in the right place at the right time to cause defences problems.

With the heavy recruitment from the Wolfpack ahead of 2018, competition for places in the halves will see Brierley firing on all cylinders this season, drawing on his Super League experience in an attempt to help the Wolfpack achieve their ultimate goals.
