Player info
The vastly experienced Tom Olbison is in his first season with the Wolfpack after agreeing to join the Canadian club from Widnes Vikings ahead of the 2019 season.
Olbison is originally a Bradford Bulls junior and came through the ranks at Odsal to make his Super League debut for the Bulls in 2009.
The 27 year old, who is comfortable playing in both the front row and second row, showed tremendous loyalty to his hometown club and spent eight seasons with Bradford in the club’s unfortunate period of decline, playing over 140 times across Super League and Championship level.
Following the Bulls liquidation at the end of 2016, Olbison secured a deal at Widnes Vikings and was virtually an ever present for the Vikings across a two year stint in Lancashire.
With Widnes now in the Championship on the back of relegation, the Yorkshire native elected to run with the Pack as part of one of six big new signings for Toronto ahead of their second campaign in the Championship.
Noted as a terrific line runner, Olbison is also comfortable playing on both edges and capable of playing 80 minutes. This, combined with his precious experience at the top of the sport, makes him another huge addition to the Wolfpack roster.
