Wolfpack Auction – Fan Requests Added
17/06/2020 by admin
Wolfpack fans across the world were frantically bidding as the Toronto Wolfpack main auction closed yesterday. A huge thanks to all fans who bid and raised money for our UK Foundation.
Throughout the 5 day auction fans were invited to submit suggestions for additional items. After taking into consideration a huge number of requests, and in speaking to valued partners, the Wolfpack are delighted to add 6 additional items. All are very different from original listings to limit crossover, and these items will end at staggered times on Saturday (June 20).
Money raised during the auction will be used to support the launch of the Wolfpack’s UK Foundation, Canadian charity partner ‘Variety, the children’s charity of Ontario’ and partner Treated.com’s donation of COVID-19 tests for NHS workers in the UK.
The additional items, like the original auction, are split across three categories: ‘Behind the Scenes’, ‘Experiences’ and ‘Memorabilia’.
Experiences – Travel
Two travel experiences have been put together for the 2021 season, with Wolfpack travel partner Wolfpack Tours, run in partnership with Glory Days. Bidding is open now with each trip including flights, hotels and VIP tickets for two people.
Firstly a trip for Canadian fans of travelling from the UK from Toronto for a 3 night stay around the weekend of a Super League game of their choice in 2021. Our winner and their guest will have the red carpet rolled out for them at one of the club’s UK games including the chance to mix with players, coaches and the executive team.
Secondly a similar experience for UK fans of flying to Toronto from the UK for a 3 night downtown stay around the weekend of a Super League game in 2021. Our winner and their guest will have the red carpet rolled out for them for at the big match at Lamport Stadium, as well as at the team’s famous Friday night fans welcome. This also includes the chance to mix with players, coaches and the executive team.
Behind the Scenes
Firstly the club is offering the chance for a company to become the player sponsor of Canadian starlet Quinn Ngawati for the remainder of the 2020 season as well as the 2021 season. Our winner will have their company logo on Quinn’s warm up top, 1 minute of LED pitchside advertising per home game as well as the opportunity to meet Quinn and be presented with his playing Jersey. This is open to bidders from Canada and the UK.
Secondly is an opportunity for our winner to watch the Wolfpack train at their UK training base before being presented with a Year’s supply (52 units) of Immune Energy Drinks by the Toronto Wolfpack squad. Immune are about to join the Pack as a partner for the remainder of the 2020 season. Fans should note this is an experience at the UK training base so we recommend bidders from the UK only just on this item.
Firstly is a signed Super League match ball, signed by the entire squad. Our winner will own a piece of history by having a Super League Match ball from a selected games and all signed by the players that featured in the game.
Secondly is a Canadian flag signed by the entire 2002 Wolfpack Squad. This is the perfect item to display either at Lamport Stadium, or at road games in the UK and was an item requested by numerous fans over the last few days.
