Toronto Wolfpack Auction Heats Up
14/06/2020 by admin
Wolfpack fans across the world are bidding on the Toronto Wolfpack Auction, looking to claim historic memorabilia and money-can’t-buy experiences, including training and game days spent within the inner sanctum of the Club.
Money raised from the auction will be used to support the launch of the Wolfpack’s UK Foundation, Canadian charity partner ‘Variety, the children’s charity of Ontario’ and partner Treated.com’s donation of COVID-19 tests for NHS workers in the UK.
Featuring three categories to choose from: ‘Behind the Scenes’, ‘Experiences’ and ‘Memorabilia’, the auction contains a range of unique items and exclusive opportunities rarely available to fans. The Wolfpack have dropped the starting bids on several items over the weekend to allow as many people as possible the opportunity to bid and potentially win their dream item.
Bidding is already underway for the chance to be ‘Director for a Day’ at a Wolfpack game in either the UK or Canada; an experience that will fully immerse the auction winner within the Wolfpack’s executive team. Includes a pre-game stadium tour, a meet and greet with players and VIP hospitality against the backdrop of a Super League clash of the winner’s choice.
Another early favourite has been the remarkable ‘Train with the Wolfpack’ experience. This sees the highest bidder testing themselves in the gym and on the field with players as they prepare for a Super League fixture. This rare chance to be a part of elite-level preparation and can take place in Canada or the UK, around the team’s travel schedule.
When it comes to memorabilia, fans have been unable to resist a signed, match-worn jersey from global superstar Sonny Bill Williams. Liam Kay, Adam Sidlow, Jon Wilkin and others will be watching closely as their match-worn jerseys continue to receive bids from excited fans.
Rapidly drawing over 150 bids, the auction is beginning to heat up as Wednesday’s deadline (June 17) approaches. There is still time however for fans to snap up a lunch with Brian McDermott, the most successful Super League coach of all time, a signed team-sheet from the 2019 Championship Grand Final, a match-worn jersey from captain Josh McCrone and much more.
For further information on any of our auction items please contact Jac Davies at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note: Liam Kay’s signed jersey will end on Tuesday (June 18), with all other items staggered through the day on Wednesday (June 19).
We recommend fans get their bids in now to avoid disappointment.
All bids are in $CAD, with an exchange rate of £1 = $1.68.
