Wolfpack Launch UK Lotto

Toronto Wolfpack are proud to launch a new initiative to raise money for the recently launched UK Foundation. The Wolfpack UK Lotto gives the Wolfpack’s growing army of fans in the UK the perfect opportunity to support the club’s community goals, while having the chance to win a cash jackpot and experiences with the team. All proceeds raised from each Lotto draw go directly to the UK Foundation.
The format mirrors the monthly online 50/50 draws in Canada which allow fans to support long time charity partner Variety, the Children’s Charity of Ontario. Due to legislation governing lotteries only UK residents can enter the UK Lotto, while only Ontario residents can enter the Variety 50/50 draws.
The Wolfpack Lotto has been built in partnership with My Club Lotto. The organization has built a network of sports clubs at all levels to offer fans a simple and easy to enter lotto format, shared prizing and a host of high profile ambassadors. Wolfpack Captain Josh McCrone joins a host of stars as ambassadors who lend their time to exclusive prizes, including former England Football Manager Sam Allardyce and England Cricketer Liam Plunkett.
All fans need to do is visit the Wolfpack UK Lotto page, click ‘Join Now’ and enter details to register.
About the UK Foundation
The UK Foundation will deliver on a specific objective of putting rugby balls in kids’ hands, stimulating the development of rugby league and growing healthier communities. The program complements the work done by the Full80 community program in Canada and ensures the club contribute to the development of the sport in the UK as well as Canada, all year round.
The Foundation seeks to deliver positive outcomes in communities across the UK, with the Wolfpack’s reach and new Super League status helping engage people in new areas beyond the sports traditional reach and supporting other expansion teams.
Support will also be given to projects within the immediate area of the Wolfpack’s UK training base, which are currently being delivered by Hopwood Hall College and League 1 side Rochdale Hornets. A brand goal is to develop playing opportunities for Women, Masters, Physical Disability Rugby League and other groups not currently playing under the Wolfpack Brand.
